Gilly Hicks Annadale Moore Body Mist Review.

Hello again my lovelies! You may be wondering why I am back quite so soon, well, I did promise a beauty review, and some inspiration hit me just like that! Here we go:

This is a review on the Gilly Hicks Body Mist in the scent Annadale Moore. I think this is one of the more popular scents, as I have seen quite a few people using it. I personally quite like it, it has a lovely sweet scent which is quite nice and possibly a bit floral? I'm not sure but that is just my interpretation. I think scent is quite a personal thing, not everyone will like one scent, however, this one seems to be widely used. Another thing I like about this, is the packaging. Yes, I know, don't judge a book by it's cover, but the packaging on this just looks so authentic and beautiful, the actual product its self is actually pink, which looks interesting through it's semi-transparent casing.

Here's a quick snap of the product: (Sorry about photography - as usual!)

And the award for the worlds worst photography goes to..... *drumroll please* ME. What a surprise that was...not!

Over all I'd say this is a really nice Body Mist and would recommend it to a friend. Also, I also own the Gilly Hicks Body Mist in Calla Bluff, which I could also do a review on, infact I might do it back to back with this one, so look out for it if you're interested. Also, if anyone of you have any blog post request you would like me to do please comment below and I will try my best! Thanks guys!

Dog Walk

Hello lovelies. This morning I went out on a really nice dog walk with a close friend, Milly(or as I like to call her Mildred.) I took my little schnauzer (called Juno) and she took her black Labrador named Layla. We walked our dogs on a large group a fields near a important local estate, which is actually very beautiful. This morning the weather was really great as it has rained last night meaning the air was very refreshing and clean. It was also an added bonus for me as I suffer from severe hayfever, and the rain gives me a bit of relief, it also however makes the fields extremely muddy.

So, this morning I forced myself out of bed and to get ready in time, but I know feel it was well worth it as I really enjoyed chatting to my friend and getting some fresh air. My favourite part was probably watching the dogs play together in the river, which was quite frankly plain adorable.

Here is a quick snap:
This one is of my little munchkin Juno! This was taken by the muddy river bank where she was playing.

Thanks for 200+ page views! There will be a be a beauty related post coming up later, so stay tuned. Just out of interest, what would you like my next review to be on? Comment down below and if I own the product that will be what my next post will be on.
Love,
Poppy

Eos Review (Summer Fruits, Sweet Mint, Honey Suckle and Passion Fruit.)

Hello Lovelies! Lately 4 EOS balms have slipped into my possession. They are in the flavours Summer Fruits, Sweet Mint, Honey Suckle and Passion Fruit. I've had them for a couple of weeks now and I use them lots and lots, I really love them and I want to get some more.

Here's a picture of them all: (sorry about my terrible photography, I am trying to get better.)

The Passion fruit is purple; the Sweet Mint is light blue; the Honey Suckle is pale green; and Summer Fruits is Red.
I keep them in this container on top of my make-up storage, which I will be photographing in the near future when it is finished(right now it is a work in progress.)

If I'm honest, each of these are very similar just with different flavors but all are equally moisturizing. I also really love how they're different to the average drug store lipbalm. The Eos are round, which is really quirky but still easy to apply. One negative thing is they don't sell them everywhere, so I ordered mine off Amazon (they're not available in stores where I live) but I am sure there are other places to purchase them from.

Here is what they look like on the inside, this is the Passion Fruit EOS: (again, sorry about the photography, I will get better over time.)

Overall I really love these lip balms, and use them very frequently, I highly recommend them.

Poppy

Body Shop Order Has Arrived: First Impressions.

Hello lovelies, my Body Shop (http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx) order arrived today and I'm so happy with all the products I purchased so far! Also I was pretty shocked that it arrived today as I got free delivery and I ordered late on Thursday night, I was expecting more Monday/Tuesday sort of time.

This won't be a review, but more my first impression. It arrived in a plain brown box with the Body Shop logo on the side (simple but effective) which contained a normal Body Shop bag which held the products, which were delicately bubble-wrapped, simply what is standard/expected. I've used almost all the products during the course of today, but obviously I haven't had them a long time so there will be a more thorough  review coming up in the near future!

-Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion: The bottle holds ALOT more than I anticipated when I was ordering, but it has a subtle shimmer and smells delicious! I've only used it twice today, and my sister borrowed it too and so far we both quite like it. ( http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/sale/sale-3-and-under/cranberry-joy-shimmer-lotion.aspx ) Below it is pictured with Cranberry Joy Body, Linen and Room Spritz from the same range.

-Almond Body Butter: I'm really picky with smells, so although I like the consistency and enjoy using it, I could be alot keener on the smell. I don't really mind the scent though, and I really like the body butters so I think I'll be using this quite often. ( http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/body-butter/almond-body-butter.aspx )

-Satsuma Hand Cleanse Gel: Yes, this was inspired by the Pink Grapefruit Hand Cleanse Gel which I did a review on (http://poppysblogstuff.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/chit-chat-london-and-review.html .) I really like the Hand Cleanse Gels from the Body Shop as they're the perfect hand-bag size and all smell amazing. They also make me feel really clean. Is that weird? The scent Satsuma is quite sweet and probably not for everyone - but I think I really like it. ( http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/hands-feet/satsuma-hand-cleanse-gel.aspx ).

-Cranberry Joy Linen, Room and Body Spritz: I've used this alot through the course of today and so far I really like it lots, the only thing I would say is the smell doesn't really stick for long, but maybe that's just because I've already gotten used to it.( http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/sale/sale-5-and-under/cranberry-joy-linen-room-body-spritz.aspx )

-Born Lippy Pot Lip Balm - Watermelon: So I've been glued to this ALL day which has really surprised me as I didn't think I'd like it much. It has gorgeous scent, the perfect, smooth, creamy consistancy and is the perfect travel size. I'll definitely be re-purchasing and looking out for other products from that range! ( http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/skincare/lip-care/born-lippy-pot-lip-balm-watermelon.aspx )

I haven't yet used the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion, but when I do I will post an update on it. I'm terribly sorry about the HORRIFIC photography, but my room is dark and I don't have any lights that don't reflect badly. I will try to better images that are included but I'm just getting used to it, and I think it's better than using google images.

Poppy

Exciting News!

Hello again my lovelies, this isn't an exciting review or new shopping list. This is just a quick catchup with some good news to do with the blog:
I now know how to attach pictures that I have actually photographed, not just ones from google images that I think fit. So, I have edited my Body Shop Pinkgrapefruit Hand Cleanse Gel Review (http://poppysblogstuff.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/chit-chat-london-and-review.html) so it now has a picture that I have actually photographed this morning!

If you are having the same issue as I was, what you do is download the Blogger app onto an iPad/iPod/iPhone to use pictures from there. Although these gadgets don't have the same affect as using something like a Cannon or a Nikon I think it is much nicer to have person photos rather than images from Google, and having this app allows you to:
-Edit posts
-Write posts
-Add in photos from the device
-View your blog
in addition to most other things you can do as if you were using a Laptop/Computer.

I'm very much looking forward to putting my photography to the test!
Love,
Poppy

Hello my lovelies! WE HAVE REACHED 100 VIEWS. Thank you so so so much everyone, I never in a million years thought I'd get this far. This as made me feel really happy/pleased with myself, as if I have reached an important bench mark in this blog. So, to show I'm grateful I will share what items I ordered from The Body Shop. This is really important : I have not yet tried any of these products so this is NOT a review, however if you'd like a review once the product arrive I can do that.

The Body Shop:   http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx

So I first decided to look at the sale section of the site to see if there was any nice things on there.
On there I found:

-Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion which was £3 (reduced from £4, not very bargainess but it looks good.)

-Almond Body Butter which was £5 (reduced from £13, for that reduction how could I resist. I've also had some body butters before - and LOVED them.)

After that I just browsed around on the site to see what goodies I could get my hands on, I have ordered:

-Satsuma Hand Cleanse Gel which was £2.50 (yes, it was inspired by my love of the same Hand Cleanse Gel but in the flavor Pink Grapefruit - Click HERE for my review on that! )

-Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion which was £3 (Can't wait to see if this does my skin any good!)

-Cranberry Joy Linen, Room and Body Spritz which was £3(Hoping this smells good.)

-Born Lippy Pot Lip Balm in the flavour Watermelon which was £2

-White Musk Eau De Parfum which was £13 (this will be a gift for my mum as she used to use this alot and loved it.)

Now, what was so amazing about all this is not only did get free delivery, I also got a further 40% off non sale items bu using the redeem code 14668. I encourage you do the same if you're thinking of popping into a Body Shop or even ordering via the internet. Nice touch Body Shop, nice touch.

Chit Chat, London and a Review!

Hello My Lovelies! I haven't posted in a couple of days because I've been quite busy with school work and when I wasn't doing that, it was my birthday. So around then I was doing things with family and friends so I didn't I didn't get the chance to sit down and take the time to blog. Anyway I just checked up on my view count and I'm so thrilled ! Thank you so much for 85 views. To say thank you I've decided to a review even though I really don't have the time right now.

So while I was on my Geography critical studies research trip in London, (we had to fill out some surveys about the area) I ventured into Canary Wharf with some friends I was with at the time. We had an hour to kill as we had already completed the survey, so it was only natural for us to go into a shopping centre. As we were strolling through I spotted a River Island shop so I went in a ended up buying some beautiful gold bird earings. As we were leaving there I found a Body Shop!

Now, I really like The Body Shop, and lately I've had a lack of products from there as the closest one to where I live (which is 50 minutes away) has now closed. Just great. So when I saw it in Canary Wharf I pounced on it. I of course bought something, as whenever I do manage to go into a Body Shop (which is rare) I always do. I know this sounds very strange but I think their business is going into decline as they always have shops closing down and things on sale, so I'm trying to grab things while I can. I bought the nicest smelling hand sanitizer I have ever smelt! It's in the flavour Pink Grapefruit.

As you may have guessed by now, this is a review on The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Hand Cleanse Gel.

Body Shop:   http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx

So I haven't had it very long, I know, but I already LOVE this product. The gorgeous smell stays on my hands for quite a while after I've used it, and it makes me feel really clean, is that strange?

I've never actually owned a Body Shop Hand Cleanse Gel before, so I can't really compare, but my friends use them as an essential and they all have other scents. I borrow theirs quite frequently and I adore those too. I know for sure I will definitely be buying more of these, they're becoming a staple!

I am now currently getting lost in the joys of their online sale, if I were you I would check it out they have some really great bargains on there at the moment!

Ta ta for now,
Poppy
